Trail Running en Baños | Volcán Tungurahua y Senderos de Montaña

Experience the ultimate hiking and trail running adventure in Baños de Agua Santa, Ecuador, a world-renowned destination for its volcanic landscapes, waterfalls, rivers, and rural villages. This tour is designed for both walkers and trail runners, providing a complete database of all trails with distances in kilometers and miles, elevation in meters and feet, and difficulty levels. 

Participants can combine routes according to fitness, endurance, and objectives, from short and relaxing walks to technical trekking and high-level trail running. Highlights include Casa del Árbol, Tungurahua Refuge, Pailón del Diablo, Cara de Perro, Piedra de la Luz, Cascada Machay, Pondoa, and Chontilla. 

Baños is located within the influence area of Sangay National Park and across from Llanganates National Park, offering Andean and subtropical landscapes perfect for hiking, photography, and athletic training.

Trail running in Baños de Agua Santa, Ecuador offers a unique combination of physical performance, nature, and technical terrain in a transition zone between the Andes and the Amazon. Routes includerural roadsmountain trailscloud forest paths, and volcanic ascentsranging from 1,820 m up to over 3,200 m (5,971 – 10,498 ft).
